CVP is an Audiology Health Technicians to support our Veterans' hearing healthcare services at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS). This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Baton Rouge Outpatient Clinic: 7968 Essen Park Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Responsibilities Assist audiologists in delivering comprehensive patient care and supporting audiology servicesSchedule and coordinate patient appointmentsManage and maintain accurate patient recordsConduct preliminary hearing tests under audiologist supervisionMaintain and calibrate audiology equipmentClean and prepare examination rooms and equipmentProcess hearing aid repairs and maintain repair logsAssist with hearing aid orientation and basic troubleshootingPerform administrative duties including scheduling, record-keeping, and billing supportEnsure compliance with safety and infection control protocolsMaintain inventory of supplies and equipment Qualifications Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience in Audiology services and repairsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates Degree in Healthcare or related field preferredExperience with electronic health records systemsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a healthcare teamUS citizenship requiredAbility to obtain and maintain VA credentials including PIV cardMust pass background investigationPreferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in VA or military healthcare settingsKnowledge of VA systems and proceduresExperience with hearing aid maintenance and repairs
