As a Full-time Audiology Tech, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Winnemucca, NV. Anticipated work schedule will be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends!

What You'll Do:

Perform audiometric testing on all employees enrolled in the hearing conservation programRecord all test resultsReview all audiograms and select abnormal/problem audiograms for review by physicianNotify employees of a standard threshold shift according to the OSHA RegulationsRetest employees with standard threshold shifts and schedule within OSHA requirements for retestingPerform an otoscopic exam on every employee prior to every audiogramRefer to the appropriate sources for further testing or medical treatmentCoordinate annual maintenance and calibration of the audiometers and testing boothsPerform daily audiometric calibrations and equipment checks and record appropriatelyProvide education, training and counseling regarding hearing conservation to employeesAssist in the selection and fitting of hearing protection devicesBe knowledgeable of all Premise policies and procedures related to the Hearing Conservation Program

What You'll Bring:

Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certification preferred.2-3 years experience as a Hearing Conservationist in an occupational health setting preferred. Knowledge of OSHA hearing conservation regulations preferred. Knowledge about workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred. Strong computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.Strong attention to detail.
