**Responsibilities:**
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assists with Audio-Video installations by performing various tasks such as pulling cables, terminating cables, installing flat panels, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, equipment racks, staging jobs/equipment, etc. Assists with ordering, receiving, inventory, billing and other administrative tasks as needed. Provides event support. Responds to trouble tickets.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Assists other Audio-Video staff with installation tasks, including but not limited to, pulling cables, terminating cables, installing flat panels, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, equipment racks, getting equipment and tools to and from job site, cleanup and trash out of installations as needed.
+ Completes administrative tasks such assisting with ordering, receiving, inventory, billing and RMA process. Assists with facilitation of event support (including live sound setups), responds to trouble tickets, replaces projector bulbs, bad cables, etc.
+ Assists with overall Shop Management, including but not limited to, keeping the shop clean and organized, ordering new supplies as needed, staging of equipment for installation jobs and adhering to timelines and daily/weekly schedules.
+ Stays abreast of current Audio-Video technology trends and education. Completes self-paced and other training as required.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ High School diploma or equivalent and less than 1 year of work experience required
+ Associate's degree preferred
+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Basic construction experience preferred
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
+ Familiarity and basic knowledge with hand and power tools and how to use them required
+ Ability to learn from others required
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills required
+ Intermediate knowledge of PCs and networking, event and classroom support preferred
**LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS**
+ Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) upon hire preferred
+ Extron or other AV or IT related Certifications upon hire preferred
