This Audit and Compliance Supervisor opportunity is a full-time position. This position requires onsite work in Clearwater, FL and occasional travel to hospitals and other sites.
Responsibilities:
The Audit and Compliance Supervisor will support Patient Financial Services Leadership which includes Admitting/Registration, HIM/Coding, Financial Assistance, PFS Central Services, and CBO Operations. Oversees audit and compliance functions in all aspects of Patient Financial Services to include regulatory compliance, internal compliance audits, outside audits, HIPAA compliance, and internal departmental policy and procedure controls. Oversees the PFS Government analysts and directs them on job specific functions. Provides audit results to leadership team and makes recommendations on improvements and process changes. Maintains the PFS Audit Plan and ensures audits are completed in the allotted timeframe. Oversees the PFS Forms Committee. Performs various audits to ensure that the large volume of transactions handled in PFS are processed appropriately and monitored on a specified timeline.
