This role requires a genuine interest in developing a comprehensive understanding of our client’s business and tax environments, as well as providing a proactive year-round tax planning approach. You will be working closely with engagement partners, interacting with great clients, and having opportunities for staff supervision and advancement. MUST HAVE: + 5+ years of Public Accounting experience + Active CPA or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process) + Solid experience with tax prep/planning and initiative to gain + Specialized skillset such as; NPO, employer benefits, single audit, etc. + Tech Savvy – Experience with Tax/Audit software (CHH ProSystem Preferred) + Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications + Must be in geographic region for occasional in-office meetings if needed + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Applicable or equitable amount of total experience REQUIRED SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS: + Integrity/Promptness/Forthrightness/Trustworthiness/Reliability/Excellence + Personable and Professional – customer service demeanor + Attention to detail + Great Communicator – Internally and externally – both written and oral + Highly organized with the ability to manage projects + Ability to work both as a team and independently PREFERRED “NOT-REQUIRED” QUALIFICATIONS + Active Oregon CPA certification or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process) + CHH ProSystem software experience + Fixed Asset Software + Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm + Experience working with construction or non-profit client base + Degree in related field Job Type: Direct Placement Work Site: This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lake Oswego, Oregon and some days remote.
