Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Manager to join our team based in Irvine, California. This role is within the public sector and involves overseeing various auditing processes. Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate audit engagements to ensure they are conducted in accordance with the company's audit program • Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and data • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure all relevant financial information is captured • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues • Leverage knowledge of accounting functions to provide insightful analysis and recommendations • Use CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax software for auditing purposes • Engage in budgeting processes to ensure financial viability and sustainability • Maintain flexibility in work hours especially during busy seasons to meet client needs • Promote work-life balance among team members by allowing flexible work arrangements when necessary • Encourage and support team members to work towards obtaining their CPA certification for detail oriented growth. Requirements • Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Software Systems • Proficiency in Audit Program is required • Familiarity with CaseWare is essential • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is necessary • Ability to manage all Accounting Functions efficiently • Prior experience managing Audit Engagements is expected • Must possess strong auditing skills • Experience in creating and implementing Audit Plans is necessary • Familiarity with Budget Processes is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
