Job Description & Summary

A career in our Non Financial Services Audit practice, within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you’ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.

Our team helps organisations navigate regulatory complexity while strengthening trust and transparency in their business. While many of the rules of business have changed, the fundamentals haven’t. You’ll work alongside senior members of the client’s management team in planning the audit process from beginning to end, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and fair presentation of our client’s information.

Your Impact

You will audit clients in the Trade, Industries & Services area.

You are responsible for integrated audits of companies that prepare financial statements in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and file with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).

You are responsible for statutory audits of companies that prepare financial statements in accordance with Swiss law.

You are responsible for audits of private companies that prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

You are responsible for managing audits of non-financial reports (e.g. ESG audits).

You are responsible for the preparation of the audit file for Partner review and assisting in the presentation of the audit findings to management or Board of Directors.

You develop new and extend existing relationships with our clients and actively support the client in technical accounting matters.

You are in the driver seat of your own responsibility, flexibility and development.

Your Skill Set

You have more than 5 years demonstrable experience in a similar role at a Big 4 company.

You are technically extremely strong with an excellent working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, SOX and PCAOB standards.

You completed the US CPA qualification or equivalent.

You have experience in managing a large multi-location audit and are very effective in your day-to-day management of clients and network PwC firms within the region.

You have experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with senior management at local, regional, and corporate levels.

You are a team player who has the ability to report upwards to Partners.

You have excellent English verbal and written communications skills – German is a plus.
