Remarks: The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst (Sr. Security Analyst) is an individual contributor position responsible for the instrumentation and administration of cybersecurity tools, appliances, and measures to protect the Board’s IT assets and ensure the Board’s ability to conduct its mission. The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst (Sr. Security Analyst) utilizes cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, proxies, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, endpoint protection, and data analysis platforms as part of an integrated, defense in depth solution with a central security information and event management (SIEM) system and security orchestration tools. The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst (Sr. Security Analyst) must understand system architectures and possess the ability to identify security weaknesses that can be exploited to compromise a variety of systems used by the Board. The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst (Sr. Security Analyst) develops technical products and presents highly technical subjects to a variety of audiences ranging from non-technical senior leaders to highly technical subject matter experts. The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst (Sr. Security Analyst) collaborates with other cybersecurity professionals to develop and implement cybersecurity solutions that enable threat hunt activities. High school diploma or equivalent experience with advanced training in the electronic field required. Must be able to interact and display tact and diplomacy at all levels within the Board staff. Must possess seven years of specialized experience. Must possess a master electrician’s license and be certified in fiber optic cable installation and testing. Requires a thorough knowledge of electrical codes, motors, motor control systems, switch gear systems (both medium and low voltage), low voltage lighting controls systems, and 277 volt fluorescent lighting. Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Makes repairs and installations from ladders, scaffolding and platforms as parts of systems worked on are in hard-to-reach areas. Requires standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently carries and sets up parts and equipment that weigh up to 50 pounds. May be required to lift and carry items that weigh over 50 pounds. Work is done inside and outside and can be dirty, dusty, and greasy. About the Job:

Handles assignments in the Banking Regulation and Policy Group of the Board’s Legal Division. The Banking Regulation and Policy Group is responsible for legal and policy issues regarding the regulation and supervision of Federal Reserve-supervised firms and also issues regarding financial stability more generally.

Drafts memoranda to the Board, staff opinion letters, legislative and regulatory proposals, and similar documents. Furnishes legal opinions and advice and responds to System and public inquiries concerning Federal statutes, interpretations, and opinions concerning the supervision and regulation of financial institutions, regulatory responsibilities of the Board, Reserve Bank matters, and related issues. Makes oral presentations at meetings with Board members. Performs more difficult assignments at this level, receives general supervision and direction from more experienced attorneys, and works with senior staff to prepare Board presentations and draft regulatory proposals.

The Senior Network Engineer role involves being part of the IT Network Infrastructure (NI) team, responsible for overseeing the Board's enterprise and data center IP Networks, encompassing switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi, and optical infrastructure. Candidates for this position must possess extensive experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting enterprise-class and data center networks, particularly with Cisco Nexus Catalyst platforms (95K,7K). Advanced experience in BGP, OSPF, STP, VXLAN, and network design is essential.

Summary:

We are seeking a talented Principal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Engineer with 7 years of experience implementing access control modules and policies across multiple systems, applications, data stores and environments. These systems and applications will be deployed in the cloud and on-prem. This may constitute Mandatory Access Control (MAC), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Discretionary Access Control (DAC), Rule-Based Access Control (RBAC or RB-RBAC), and/or Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC), with an emphasis on RBAC/PBAC.

The ICAM Engineer will be responsible for:

RBAC and PBAC Implementation: Develop, deploy, and maintain RBAC and PBAC modules for access control, ensuring that users and entities have the appropriate permissions and privileges. Access Control Policies: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce access control policies based on RBAC and PBAC principles. Identity Management: Design and manage the identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and authentication processes. The Senior Security Analyst (Principal ICAM Engineer) directs the coordination of a wide range of major technical, operational, and policy initiatives associated with Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM), cybersecurity, and related IT security policy objectives for the Federal government.

About the Team

The successful candidate works alongside economists within the Division of Supervision Regulation. More specifically, the PhD intern will work within the Policy Research and Analytics (PRA) team. PRA is a group in SR responsible for policymaking surrounding banks’ trading, credit, and operational risk models, researching the economic impacts of regulatory policies, and analyzing information on banks’ internal risk limits as part of Volcker rule compliance.

The PhD intern will also have a chance to interact with the Stress Testing group. Economists in this group support related policy work while conducting research on a range of research areas, including but not limited to the economics of financial intermediation by banks and non-banks, and the implications on bank supervision and regulation, financial stability, and real economic activity.

About the Role

The Ph.D. internship within the Division of Supervision Regulation (SR) provides graduate Ph.D. students the opportunity to collaborate with research economists and policymakers, conduct research towards their dissertation and contribute to the mission of the Board. This internship will be offered as a 6-month long internship opportunity with the Policy Research and Analytics group.

While at the Board, Ph.D. interns will:

About the Job

The Paralegal will work in the Banking Regulations and Policy Group of the Board’s Legal Division. Will serve as the liaison to Federal Register staff and oversee the publication of regulations and related materials submitted by the Board or the FOMC for publication in the Federal Register, the Code of Federal Regulations, and the Board’s public website. The Paralegal also serves as primary contact for systems that manage the Board’s banking applications matters, including supporting the processing and publication of documents. The Paralegal uses initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems and in developing policies and procedures for the publication of documents and the processing of banking applications, as well as collaborating with Board staff and staff in state and federal banking regulatory agencies to facilitate the production and publication of documents. The Paralegal also manages and prepares public notice documents for banking applications matters, plans and organizes public Board meetings for banking applications-related matters, and coordinates the review of public comments (including preparation of comments for public posting and rendering comments compliant with section 508.
