Auditor
CTG is seeking to fill an Auditor opening for our client in New York. **Location:** Remote, Candidates must be in the US **Duration:** 3 months **Overview:** The Auditor participates in all phases of the audits across their assigned projects. The individual also assists in the completion of annual risk assessments, continuous auditing, and remediation plan validations as assigned, under the supervision of a Lead Auditor or Manager. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Participate in audits by executing assigned tasks in accordance with the Division's methodology and professional standards, completing work within established timeframes. + Conduct effective walkthroughs, accurately identify risks and controls within processes, and design and execute effective testing approaches with guidance from a Lead Auditor or Manager. + Perform root cause analysis of identified findings, working closely with the Lead Auditor or Manager for insights. + Actively participate in meetings with business management to provide updates on respective areas of testing. + Engage in other assurance activities and advisory services, including continuous auditing and validation procedures, utilizing modernized assurance methodologies and tools. + Document work, including findings, in a clear and concise manner in accordance with the Division's methodology. + Embrace innovative change and seek to incorporate data analytics effectively. + Continuously seek knowledge in areas related to assigned audit activities. + Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging. **Scope of Responsibilities:** This individual is responsible for executing and documenting assigned assurance activities to support the delivery of audit reports that conform to professional auditing standards. They report to an Audit (Senior) Manager. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. **Education and Experience Required:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Proven experience as an Auditor or in a similar role. + Familiarity with auditing standards and methodologies. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are a plus. + Experience with data analytics and modern audit tools is preferred. + Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience is a bonus. + TeamMate+ Audit experience Preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $20.00/hour to $27.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
