Job Purpose or Objective(s): As a Gaming Commission Auditor, you will monitor and verify gaming compliance with established procedures, Federal, State and Tribal regulations as they apply to Class II and Class III gaming at all Choctaw Casino facilities. You will report to the Gaming Commission Auditing Manager.

Schedule: Regular/Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Primary Tasks:
You will perform departmental audits ensuring compliance with all regulations and confirm implementation of procedures to protect the assets of the Choctaw Nation. Compile reports documenting instances of noncompliance of regulations or policies. Maintain tracking system depicting audits performed, casino operations responses to any audit exceptions, and appraise the adequacy of any action(s) taken to implement measures of corrective action. Perform follow-up audits to verify that corrective action has been taken regarding all instances of noncompliance. Use data mining techniques to identify signs of fraud or theft, conduct investigations, and issue reports with comments about areas that need improvements. Recommend placement or updates of internal controls and help achieve compliance. Maintain the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) required by the National Indian Gaming Commission. Review audit checklists to maintain consistency with established Federal, State and Tribal gaming regulations. You will review and track variances and procedure violations for any suspicious or reoccurring instances. Review Choctaw Casino promotions for clarity, accuracy, validity, and compliance. Review, accept, and deny any submitted changes to an individual’s established electronic scan access control rights. Review notifications for any chips that are to be ordered, transferred/exchanged or destroyed and track discrepancies in receipt, inventory, storage, transfer or destruction. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or 4 years related experience. Obtain a key gaming license. Competent with computers and Microsoft Office Suite General knowledge of Federal, State and Tribal gaming regulations that govern Tribal Gaming address delicate situations by maintaining control.
