Aurora House Registered Nurse Consultant << Back to Job Postings << Search Job Postings Position: Aurora House Registered Nurse Consultant Division: Youth Services Program: Aurora House General Overview: Main responsibilities have been identified to be those areas pertaining to nursing and medication monitoring, as well as monitoring compliance with medication management, policies and other health-related items. Meets with the Program RN to discuss any specific concerns or incidents for the month, problems with policy or training needs, and to generally provide additional supports. Completes assessments and written reports and submits for filing immediately, following the conclusion of the consultation time period. Is permitted to attend Intake Committee Meetings when schedule permits. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Applied Science; Current NYS Registered Nurse License; Psychiatric nursing experience with adolescents preferred; Knowledge of NYS Mental Health Service System. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to successfully complete NYS fingerprinting process. Hours: Contract capped at seven (7) hours per month Salary Range: $40-45/hourly, based upon relevant experience.
