Authorization Representative

Work Schedule: 

This is a part time, 0.8 FTE position.  Shifts will be scheduled Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m - 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position will be remote upon successful completion of training. Onsite training in Middleton, WI.

We are seeking an Authorization Representative to:

Obtain prior authorization from payers for inpatient and outpatient services provided by UW Health.  Demonstrate skilled communication and troubleshooting techniques as well as excellent customer service skills. Anticipate and respond to a wide variety of issues/concerns and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
