Position Overview:
As an Auto Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in small engines, diagnostics, and repair will be the guiding light that leads them to a promising career in many different industries. We believe that hands-on learning is the key to success, so get ready to dive into the world of interactive teaching and inspire the next generation to conquer the challenges of modern automotive technology.

Responsibilities Help students realize their dreams by organizing and delivering class objectives in a clear, concise manner; maintaining an orderly, controlled, and safe environment for our students in classrooms and labs; ensuring training aids, tools, and equipment are maintained and prepared for use in the classroom and lab; supervising and holding students accountable while promoting learning, participation, motivation, and professionalism; testing, evaluating, and communicating performance and progress with students, supervisors, and other departments in a timely and accurate manner; and maintaining curriculum accuracy by keeping up-to-date on the industry.Ensures UTI is legitimate in our operations by following the compliance related responsibilities for this position in the supplemental document.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education / Experience

High School Diploma/GED & 5 years hands on technician experience in last 10 years;
OR Post Secondary Education & 4 years hands on technician experience in last 10 years;
OR Associates/Bachelor’s & 3 years hands on technician experience in last 10 yearsASE Certifications required for Accreditation Standards.  *Current ASE Master Certification is a PLUS* *Current ASE L1 Certification or ability to become L1 Certified is a PLUS!! **
