**Job Title: Auto Mechanic** **Salary Range:** $54,080.00 - $66,560.00 **Job Description** We are seeking a self-motivated, career-minded Auto Mechanic with over 5 years of experience in steering and suspension repairs, engine repairs, brake repairs, and general maintenance. A degree in automotive repair and/or ASE certifications is a plus. **Responsibilities** + Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting. + Execute mechanical and electrical repairs. + Conduct preventive maintenance on vehicles. + Handle automotive repair and service tasks. + Utilize hand tools for various installations. + Work on pneumatics and hydraulics systems. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of demonstrated experience as an Auto Mechanic. + Experience with steering, suspension, brakes, engine, and transmission repairs. + Self-motivated and career-minded. + Responsible and dependable. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A two-year degree/diploma in Automotive Repair or related field (preferred). + ASE certifications (a plus). **Why Work Here?** Join a small family-owned shop soon to be passed onto the 5th generation, known for high-quality service and working on exciting cars. The shop has heat and AC in the office areas, and heat throughout the shop. The team consists of about 28 people, with 4-5 peers depending on the department. We provide scan tools (Snap-on, Bosch), alignment machines (Hunter & Bee Line), and other specialty tools. The break room includes a TV, fridge, microwaves, and snacks for purchase. Our shop features 31 bays, a state-of-the-art oversized paint booth, and handles 400-500 work orders a month. Technicians can work on personal vehicles with supervisor permission.
