Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking 3 detail-oriented and skilled Emergency Vehicle Upfitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting standard vehicles into fully equipped emergency response units. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining specialized equipment such as lights, sirens, communication systems, and other critical components.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure emergency lighting systems, sirens, and communication equipment.Perform electrical wiring and connections to integrate new systems with existing vehicle infrastructure.Fabricate and install custom mounts, brackets, and panels for specialized equipment.Ensure all installations meet safety and regulatory standards.Troubleshoot and repair any issues with installed equipment.Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used.Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications.Stay current on new technologies, tools, and best practices in emergency vehicle upfitting.

Work Experience

Experience in vehicle customization, electrical systems, or related fields.

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and wiring.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in automotive technology or related fields is a plus.
