Job Summary:

The AutoCAD Designer will collaborate with project managers and vendors to prepare drawing submittals for airport review for small to mid-sized airport projects, facilitating the installation of advertising. Additionally, they will convert airport floor plans into Exhibit A maps, which are crucial for the approval of new inventory in each market.

                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities

Collaborates with airport architects and project managers to convert existing airport Computer-Aided Design (CAD) floor plans into Exhibit A’s for new inventory location approval.Coordinates with project managers, the New Business Design team, and architects to develop Preliminary Design Packets.Reviews and revises Preliminary Design Packet comments from airports to create Construction Install Packets for project managers.Communicates on-site changes to project managers post-installation and prepare As-Built Drawing submittals for airport records.Creates Detailed Spec Drawings for inventory with complex shapes or multiple obstructions, ensuring accurate communication to clients for artwork creation.Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.AutoCAD, Architectural Drafting, and Design preferred.

Work Experience

Three (3) + years’ experience directly relating to AutoCAD, Architectural Drafting, and Design..

Skills

Proficiency in reading and comprehending engineering blueprints.Strong understanding of general building codes and permitting procedures.Competence in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; familiarity with CADD preferred.
