Job Description Create shop drawings and details from field measurements of architectural projects. Draft custom staircases, railings, and interior metal doors for fabrication to be installed into custom high-end homes. Use AutoCAD plug-in FabCAD to create drawings. Take direction from project managers to complete projects on time. Ability to visit project sites when needed. Key Responsibilities: + Create shop drawings and details from field measurements of the architectural project + Detail custom staircases, railings, and interior metal doors for fabrication to be installed into custom high-end homes + Use AutoCAD plug-in FabCAD to create drawings + Take direction from project managers to complete projects on time + Ability to visit project sites when needed Qualifications: + 5+ years experience + Full proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience in FabCAD is a huge plus but not required + Drafting experience in construction required - must have a strong understanding of the construction process and how buildings come together + Ability to create shop drawings for very custom metal stairways, railings, interior doors, etc.. + Experience with site visits dealing with contractors, fielding questions when clients call the office About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
