**AutoCAD Detailer** **Monday- Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM** **Job Description** The position of AutoCAD Detailer involves the analysis and interpretation of specifications, construction documents, and the production of erection drawings and shop fabrication drawings with CNC files for shop equipment. Candidates must conduct a pre-employment assessment test to determine their level of knowledge pertaining to the detailing position, including plan reading and interpretation, math skills, and software proficiencies. **Responsibilities** + Analyze and interpret specifications and construction documents. + Produce erection drawings and shop fabrication drawings with CNC files for shop equipment. + Undergo pre-employment assessment to evaluate plan reading, math skills, and software proficiencies. + Receive training in the software used in the estimating process and to produce erection and shop drawings. + Participate in New Project Meetings to establish project scope, identify specification issues, and develop schedules for submittals, purchasing, production, fabrication, and delivery. + Verify gridline dimensioning between architectural and structural pages, generating RFIs for any discrepancies. + Review potential discrepancies between architectural details/cut sections and structural pages, generating RFIs for any discrepancies. + Layout gridlines, detail anchor bolt setting plans, generate the bill of material for anchor bolts and imbeds, and submit for client approval. + Enter all relevant information into the Detailcad system and generate drawings for structural framing, cuts, and details. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoDetailer. + Experience in MIG welding, design, drafting, and detailing. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings. + Familiarity with structural AutoCAD, Detailcad System, and Autodesk software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in detailing structural and miscellaneous steel such as beams, columns, and stairways. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your skills in structural steel detailing are valued and utilized to create architectural pieces.
