Job Summary: AutoCAD Drafter + Use AutoCAD to create pipeline alignment sheets and plats, exhibits and permit drawings used to construct pipeline projects + Prepare design drawings with plan, section and detail format or plan and profile as designated + Prepare sketches of details not included on existing drawings to accurately reflect as-installed field conditions + Prepare drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved details provided by designers and engineers + Prepare ALTA surveys and Land Survey Plats Requirements: + Minimum years drafting experience or education equivalent + Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting + Oil and gas industry experience required + Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction, drawings and gas service records for existing condition interpolation + Robust knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D + Experience with Route Mapper and/or Plat Mapper preferred Qualifications: + Applicants will have a basic understanding of survey procedures and data collection and a level of knowledge to work independently. + Ability to work on multiple projects using raw field data and + computer data. + Ability to apply land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to solve surveying-related problems. + Ability to review their own work for accuracy and completeness and the initiative to recommend solutions or improvements as appropriate. + Customer service and team-oriented. + Should demonstrate they are a self-starter, organized, attentive, to detail, and able to work under stress to meet deadlines.
