CAD Drafter - Civil Land Development Job Description We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will utilize CAD software to draft and design technical drawings, process field survey data, and work with various team members to support engineering projects across multiple departments. Responsibilities + Utilize CAD software to draft and design technical drawings for various departments. + Process field survey data to generate base maps for engineering design. + Collaborate with CAD team members, project managers, and project engineers to understand the scope of work, schedule, and budget. Essential Skills + A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field. + Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D/MicroStation. + Understanding of terminology such as grading, slope, steep slope, and municipal codes. + 3-5 years of hands-on land development experience. + Experience with civil land development projects including residential, commercial, and industrial. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in civil engineering and drafting. + Familiarity with design and engineering principles related to land development. Work Environment This position offers remote flexibility, allowing for up to half of the workdays to be remote once proficiency is demonstrated. On the job, you can expect to work on projects such as land development, single-family homes, warehouse buildings, and sub-lot development.
