Job Title: AutoCAD DrafterJob Description We are seeking a consultant to utilize CAD software to draft and design technical drawings to support various departments. The ideal candidate will process field survey data to generate base maps for engineering design and collaborate with CAD team members, project managers, and project engineers to understand the scope of work, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities + Utilize CAD software to draft and design technical drawings. + Process field survey data to generate base maps for engineering design. + Work with other CAD team members, project managers, and project engineers to understand the scope of work, schedule, and budget. + Participate in land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial development. + Apply grading techniques in CAD for civil land development projects. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (no MicroStation). + Experience as a CADD drafter with land development experience. + Grading experience in CAD. + Knowledge of civil engineering principles and CAD software. + Ability to design and draft for civil land development projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Understanding of civil design and engineering concepts. + Ability to describe terms such as grading, slope, steep slope, and municipal codes. Work Environment This position offers remote flexibility with the ability to earn one remote day per week after demonstrating capability to work from home. You can expect to work on projects such as land development, single-family homes, warehouse buildings, and sub-lot development. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
