Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter with experience in Architectural Millwork to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of creating shop drawings for client approval, preparing submittal packages, and implementing change orders. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your drafting skillset and gain mentorship from Senior Designers.

ResponsibilitiesReview job orders and specifications from architects and create shop drawings for client approval.Engineer shop drawings for fabrication, primarily working independently but reviewed by two Senior Designers.Prepare submittal packages, including shop drawings, product data, and finish samples.Implement change orders to the drawings as needed.Attend meetings with the Project Manager and team to discuss material status and review drawings.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in Architectural Millwork using AutoCAD.Ability to read and understand architectural drawings as a basis for shop drawings.General knowledge of the construction industry.Inquisitive nature with a 'how does that work' mindset.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Microvellum, CabinetVision, and CNC Mill.Ability to think outside the box and find solutions to technical issues.Occasional purchasing of job-specific materials.Ability to visualize complex assemblies in components.Work Environment

Work alongside two Senior Designers in an in-office setting. The firm has a solid backlog and provides an opportunity to grow your drafting skillset with mentorship from Senior Designers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
