A week in the life of a AutoCAD Drafter:

Create and edit detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for ship components and structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and US Coast Guard design standards as well as NVR/ABS regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with marine engineers, naval architects, and other project stakeholders to gather requirements and refine designs. Prepare and maintain documentation related to design changes, revisions, and specifications. Review designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team during the construction and modification of vessels. Assist in the management and coordination of drafting projects to ensure timely delivery.
