SSOE is looking to hire a highly skilled AutoCAD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AutoCAD software, including advanced features and customization, and proficiency in AutoCAD 2025. This role requires strong programming skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. The AutoCAD Specialist will be responsible for managing multiple projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all AutoCAD-related tasks. 

Responsibilities Utilize extensive experience with AutoCAD software, including advanced features and customization, to create and modify designs.Develop custom automations using programming languages such as LISP, VBA, and .NET to streamline design processes, automate repetitive tasks like drawing generation, and enhance efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AutoCAD and custom scripts with excellent analytical skills.Ensure meticulous management of reference files, including version control, file organization, and accuracy in all updates and customizations.Update and maintain AutoCAD ribbon, toolbars, and user interfaces to ensure user-friendly design environments and optimize workflow efficiency.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication skills.Provide ongoing support and training to users on custom tools and updates.Quickly learn and implement new technologies and methodologies.Take full responsibility for the management and organization of reference files and customizations.Perform effectively under pressure in a team environment and with tight time constraints.Manage Xref for projects.Provide support on design tasks, including QA/QC redlines and record drawing support.Support CAD coordination on projects. Qualifications High school diploma required. An Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering (e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or architectural fields (e.g., Architecture, Architectural Engineering) is preferred.Extensive experience with AutoCAD software, including proficiency in AutoCAD 2025.Strong knowledge of LISP, VBA, and .NET for creating custom automations.Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving AutoCAD-related issues.Meticulous in managing reference files and ensuring accuracy in updates and customizations.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience in providing technical support and training.Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and methodologies.Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000+/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, generous PTO & paid holidays.
