Summary: Seeking an Autoclave Operations Tech II for 2nd Shift to perform setup and operation of autoclaves for curing and bonding aircraft parts.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Two (2) years related autoclave operational experience

Valid driver's license

Must possess/use a Q-Stamp; new hires must obtain within twelve (12) months

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Skilled in using special tools and precision measuring devices (e.g., micrometer, caliper)

Experience with composite bonding or operating autoclave/ovens, forklift experience, hand and power tool knowledge

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with ASC Software or similar cure program

Understanding of composite curing processes

Responsibilities:

Setup and operate autoclaves and auxiliary equipment per specifications

Read and interpret electronic travel documents and related paperwork

Connect thermocouples/vacuum lines to fittings on parts/ports inside the autoclave

Enter part number, thermocouple, vacuum port information into computerized system

Adjust manual controls/enter commands to regulate autoclave operations

Monitor instruments/switches/recorders for warning signals during operation

Retrieve/prep/release tools for lay-up operations

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
