Description

This position will develop, execute, and maintain both automated and manual test plans for complex systems comprised of desktop, mobile, embedded, mechanical, and server components.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

•\tCreates test plans for verification of software requirements.

•\tPerforms manual testing for desktop applications, websites, mobile and embedded applications.

•\tDocuments test results.

•\tVerifies software issues reported by customers.

•\tSubmits detailed reports to the software development team.

•\tMaintain a list of known issues for each software release.

•\tReview and help oversee test cases and results of other team members.

•\tMay use software tools and develop and maintain custom scripts for automated testing.

•\tVerifies and duplicates security test results.

•\tDesigns, develops, executes, and documents load tests.

•\tIdentifies, replicates, and isolates issues within complex distributed network systems comprised of server, mobile, and mechanical components.

•\tTroubleshoots system setup issues.

•\tIdentifies necessary components for system testing.

•\tInstalls, configures, and troubleshoots system testing environments.

•\tSupport and maintains trend data related to software quality over time.

•\tPerform functional and performance testing of cloud APIs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•\tB.S. or equivalent experience

•\t10 years of testing experience

•\tPrevious experience in performance testing, regression testing, automated GUI testing.

•\tExperience creating use cases and test scripts.

•\tExperience working with Windows.

•\tExperience working with database testing.

•\tStrong technical writing skills

•\tExperience using automated tools for GUI and API automation testing.

•\tExperience using automated tools for server load, performance, and latency testing.

•\tRobot Framework / Selenium

•\tExperience with programing language Python preferred.

•\tKnowledge of standard SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

•\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $51.00/hr.
