Automated Test Engineer
Job Title: Automated Test Engineer Job Description This position will develop, execute, and maintain both automated and manual test plans for complex systems comprised of desktop, mobile, embedded, mechanical, and server components. Responsibilities + Create test plans for verification of software requirements. + Perform manual testing for desktop applications, websites, mobile, and embedded applications. + Document software issues reported by customers. + Submit detailed reports to the software development team. + Maintain a list of known issues for each software release. + Review and help oversee test cases and results of other team members. + Use software tools and develop and maintain custom scripts for automated testing. + Verify and duplicate security test results. + Design, develop, execute, and document load tests. + Identify, replicate, and isolate issues within complex distributed network systems comprised of server, mobile, and mechanical components. + Troubleshoot system setup issues. + Identify necessary components for system testing. + Install, configure, and troubleshoot system testing environments. + Support and maintain trend data related to software quality over time. + Perform functional and performance testing of cloud APIs. Essential Skills + Web testing + Selenium + CI/CD + Automated testing - 10+ years of testing experience (5-8 years of experience may be considered) + Robot Framework or Selenium experience - 5+ years + TestRail + Experience with documenting test cases within a manual process Additional Skills & Qualifications + B.S. or equivalent experience + Experience in performance testing, regression testing, and automated GUI testing + Experience creating use cases and test scripts + Experience working with Windows + Experience with database testing + Strong technical writing skills + Experience using automated tools for GUI and API automation testing + Experience using automated tools for server load, performance, and latency testing + Experience with programming language Python preferred + Knowledge of standard SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work Environment Flexible work schedule with remote work on Monday and Friday. Core hours are 9:30 AM - 3 PM, and need to be onsite on Tuesday-Thursday during those times. Work 8 hours a day. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $51.00/hr.
