Test Engineer Senior

HOW A TEST ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a test engineer on our team, you will work with developers and data enginners to evaluate software developed for the intelligence community. You’ll work on creating a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of our developed tools.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:
Experience with technical quality assurance, including creation of test cases, test suites, requirements traceability, and end-of-test reports
Experience using Atlassian Jira for test case and defect management
Experience with development of automated tests supporting data engineering and/or application development
Experience with Agile development and working closely with developers to provide collaborative feedback
Experience programming in Java or Python
Knowledge of functional testing, backend testing, automation, and data validation
● Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with polygraph
● Preferred Skills:
Experience implementing automated testing in a CI/CD pipeline
Experience with containerization technologies, such Kubernetes
