Job Description
Seeking an automation engineer experienced in developing PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells. You’ll be collaborating as part of our larger technology development group, comprised of our Software, IT, AI Dev, & Automation teams to deliver automated systems to support our manufacturing scaling. The ideal candidate would describe themselves as a problem solver, analytical, fast-paced, and detail-oriented.
Hard SkillsBachelor’s degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent5+ years in developing custom automationPLC Ecosystems expertise (Rockwell PLCS, Servo, and Safety)Proficient with Structured Text/Function Block/Sequential Function ChartsExperience with controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, safety devices, machine vision, barcode readers, HMIIndustrial networking protocols: Modbus, Ethernet TCP/IP, etc.Control logic architecture design & planningABB Robotics experience Soft SkillsProblem solverAnalyticalFast-pacedDetail-orientedWork Environment
