Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer
Job Description

Seeking an experienced automation engineer proficient in developing PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells. You will collaborate with our larger technology development group, including Software, IT, AI Development, and Automation teams, to deliver automated systems supporting our manufacturing scaling. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, analytical, fast-paced, and detail-oriented.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells.Collaborate with Software, IT, AI Development, and Automation teams.Troubleshoot, program, modify, replace hardware, and update existing systems.Design and plan control logic architecture.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in automation, electrical, computer, mechanical, or software engineering, or equivalent.5+ years in developing custom automation.Expertise in PLC ecosystems (Rockwell PLCs, Servo, and Safety).Proficient with Structured Text, Function Block, and Sequential Function Charts.Experience with controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, safety devices, machine vision, barcode readers, and HMI.Experience using industrial networking protocols such as Modbus.Additional Skills & QualificationsABB Robotics experience.Ability to optimize ABB Robotics for increased speed and efficiency.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $64.90
