As the Manager of Robotics Process Automation (RPA), you lead a team in the design, development and operations of automation solutions using UiPath and other automation technologies to support critical business functions, in our forestry, manufacturing, and corporate functions. The RPA team delivers digital automation solutions using robotic process automation (RPA) and AI technologies, driving operational excellence across the enterprise. As a hands-on leader, you will lead by example utilizing industry-leading platforms such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate, along with cloud-based technologies, to develop and deploy low-code automation solutions using agile development methodologies.
This role combines technical expertise, process improvement acumen, and a passion for innovation. As an advocate for automation, you will partner with business leaders to identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement projects that improve efficiency, reliability, and business outcomes.
Primary ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage a team of RPA developers, including in-house and outsourced resources.Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Managers and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, analyze workflows,and recommend automation solutions while evaluating feasibility and ROI.Lead workshops with the team and stakeholders to develop requirements and solicit feedback on new features and products.Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions inclusive of unit testing and customer acceptance testing.Regularly communicate progress and status to leadership, peers and stakeholders.Facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Effectively manage people, projects and processes; Meet commitments to achieve team and organizational goals.Follow software engineering best practices including coding standards, git, continuous integration, source management, quality assurance, and build processes.Proactively identify ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality.Embrace DevOps to deploy high-quality solutions with standard CI/CD pipelines.Train, mentor, and share knowledge with team members.Follow change management processes in line with governance and controls.Participate in on-call rotation and support of automation solutions.Weyerhaeuser is a leader in sustainable forestry and wood products, dedicated to innovation and operational excellence. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
