Johnson Service Group, Inc. has an immediate need for a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician near McDonough, GA.  In this role you will scheduled and day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department to ensure the plant meets department and overall plant goals of safety and quality.
_________________________________________________________ Essential Job Functions Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors and pumps. Troubleshoot, repair, or replace electrical control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed. Troubleshoot, repair, or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical power components. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment by utilizing PLC’s (Allen Bradley) and other multiple automated control systems. Be able to use RS Logix and have the ability to read ladder logic. Preform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments as well as preventative and predictive maintenance tasks. Works closely with production and refrigeration personnel to effectively resolve and eliminate plant and process problems. Be able to use multimeter, ohm meter and / or megger Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent information to department manager. Cross train maintenance and production operators to obtain adequate coverage across all shifts. Assist management in developing standard operating procedures, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance, relating to process and packaging equipment.   Education/Training:
Required:  High School diploma
Preferred:  Technical College/PLC Certification Course
  Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:  Required: Electrical / PLC / pneumatic/ mechanical / basic electrical skills.
