Summary: Automation Engineer required with expertise in PLC programming, electrical panel design, and system troubleshooting for key equipment automation projects.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer

Expertise in designing and implementing automation systems including PLC, vision, and HMI programming

Experience with Delta V, Foxboro, Wonderware platforms, Rockwell, RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, PanelView Plus, PlantPAX

Capability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems

Ability to generate user requirement specifications for control systems

Proficiency in making minor modifications to code and HMI graphics

Preferred Skills:

Knowledgeable with Siemens Simatic APT (Siemens TI-505 PLC controller) or willingness to be trained

Responsibilities:

Design electrical panels for automation projects

Lead complex quality checks on machine control systems

Perform onsite work for the design and implementation of automation aspects of equipment projects

Contribute to validation protocols on automation systems and execute them

Maintain updated documentation on control system changes

Additional Information:

Position requires being local to the Kalamazoo area

Onsite work only; occasional weekend work may be required
