Job Title: Automation EngineerJob Description The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design and layout of electrical systems and equipment in relation to overall machines, equipment, and processes. This includes determining the physical location of specific components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, auxiliary systems, wires, and panels on machines or equipment. The work will be carried out using AutoCAD Electrical and electrical schematics. Responsibilities + Design and layout electrical systems and equipment for machines and processes. + Determine the physical location of components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, auxiliary systems, wires, and panels. + Develop electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical. + Ensure integration of electrical systems within overall machine designs. Essential Skills + Associate's degree in electrical/electronics or currently in process of completing. + At least 1 year of previous AutoCAD experience. + At least 1 year of previous experience in electrical system drafting, design, or layout. Additional Skills & Qualifications + More than 2 years of experience designing electrical systems including PLC/HMI design. + More than 2 years of experience with panel layout. + Previous experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
