Job Description
The facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic 'fill and finish' site responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. You will join a global network of manufacturing professionals focused on several key final production processes, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly, and packaging.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot automation and control systems and batch processes.Program and configure process control systems.Ensure proper interfacing and integration of systems and manage user access.Work with Windows-based operating systems and associated applications.Participate in planning, organizing, and executing projects, revising work plans as necessary.Operate and inspect manufacturing equipment.Essential SkillsBA/BS in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.5-7 years of experience in a similar role.Experience in troubleshooting automation and control systems and batch processes.Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.Knowledge of SCADA (Ignition, FactoryTalk), PLC, and HMI (Rockwell/AB, Siemens).Experience with programming and configuration of process control systems.Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems and associated applications.Experience with system interfacing and integration and user access management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with virtual machines/environments (preferably VMWare).Knowledge of Oracle databases.Understanding of IT competencies such as domain, networking, firewall, group policies/permissions, and system backup and restore.Knowledge of MES (PAS-X) and databases.Expertise in planning, organization, and project execution.Work Environment
This is an onsite role in a pharmaceutical manufacturing area, supporting the business on the engineering side. The facility operates 24/7. You will work on the first shift, with one week on-call rotation, which includes the ability to remote in and access a separate cell phone. The role involves working in an open office environment with potential distractions and may require adjusting your schedule to collaborate with colleagues in different time zones. The position may also involve international and domestic travel as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00
