Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on OSI PI Engineer to ensure our customers' success by developing real-time data and historian-based solutions.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with customers to design, configure, develop, test, and deploy real-time data solutions based on OSI PI (AVEVA), AspenTech, Canary, or similar technologies.Install and configure real-time data technologies such as PI Server, AF Server, and other OSI PI Suite of products.Install and configure interfaces to control system infrastructures.Configure real-time data applications, visualizations, and reports according to design specifications.Work in a team environment with automation engineers, customers, manufacturing personnel, and third-party vendors and contractors.Essential Skills3-10 years of design and configuration experience with real-time data solution technology in OSI PI, AVEVA, AspenTech, Canary, or similar technologies.Strong communication skills.Experience with PLC programming, DeltaV, batch, GMP, Aveva, and Asset Framework.Project experience with automation.Troubleshooting skills related to Rockwell, DCS, SCADA, and process equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Working knowledge of common control systems and interfacing to Historians and IT Applications.Experience with the creation/modification of PI tags, PI AF Element templates and AF Elements, PI-based dashboards (PI Vision/Process Book), PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications, and PI Event Frames.Knowledge of PI Interfaces: OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI.Work Environment
This is a project-based role that will primarily be based in the Holly Springs office with 10-20% local travel to client sites for commissioning. The work environment includes day-to-day tasks involving advanced knowledge of Asset Frameworks, such as segregating data starting with the plant and extending to pieces of equipment. The role will involve working with a variety of PI subsystems, drafting technical documentation, and designing or architecting PI systems.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00
