Automation Engineer
Job Description: Automation Engineer The Controls Engineer will support dairy and food and beverage related projects. This role will involve programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs, covering applications and hardware systems like Rockwell and Siemens. Additionally, the engineer will assist with project work, including creating spreadsheets for finding new suppliers for alternative hardware or components. Responsibilities + Support programming of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs for various applications. + Work with hardware systems such as Rockwell and Siemens. + Assist in creating spreadsheets to identify new suppliers for alternative hardware or components. + Manage and support a variety of projects in the dairy, food and beverage, and agriculture sectors. + Gain and apply project management experience. Essential Skills + Automation + PLC programming + Troubleshooting + Robotics + Controls engineering + Rockwell + Siemens + Electrical controls engineering + HMI + Control systems + Controls technician + Automation technician Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or IT + Internship or co-op experience with programming + Coursework in programming or automation Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $60.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
