Job Description
Design and implement process-driven, innovative sealant and adhesive application solutions to meet customer expectations. Perform process engineering analysis and feasibility studies of sealer automation equipment required for customer quotations and execute business requirements to meet customer needs and expectations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform process evaluations, feasibility studies, and proposal support prior to the release of quotations.Design and implement processes using robots and a wide variety of applicator products.Perform project process execution upon receipt of order.Perform customer demonstrations and develop accurate analysis and presentation materials on the results of demonstrations.Act as a primary point of contact for customers during system launches.Ensure reliable, consistent attendance.Travel to customer sites for installation and production support, partnering with the Install Team to complete installations.Essential Skills2 years of experience with machine vision, vision systems (Cognex, Keyance), high pressure systems, hydraulic/pneumatics, shot meters, fluid delivery, supply pumps.2 years of experience in robot programming.Ability to travel 60%-80% of the time within North America.Associates or Bachelor's Degree.Experience working onsite or with a customer.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Ability to mechanically work on a robot (turn a wrench).Work Environment
Work as part of a team of 10 Process Engineers or Associate Engineers with two full-time openings and one contract opening. Travel between 60%-80% of the time, primarily to GM plants in North America. Travel during sealer robot installations, with the possibility of being home every other weekend if traveling more than one week at a time. Collaborate with the Install Team for system installations.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
