We are looking for: Automation Engineer
You’ll make a difference by,
PLC Programming & Integration: Develop, program, and optimize Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, TIA Portal) for industrial automation projects. Robotics & Motion Control: Configure, program, and integrate industrial robots (Staubli, UR, Fanuc, Kuka) for assembly, material handling, and other automation tasks. Industrial Edge & SCADA Systems: Implement and manage industrial edge computing solutions and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing processes. IIoT & Data Connectivity: Deploy and maintain Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between OT and IT systems for process optimization and predictive analytics. Discrete Automation: Work with sensors, actuators, and vision systems to improve automated manufacturing processes. Industrial Communication & Fieldbus Protocols: Design and troubleshoot PROFINET and other fieldbus-based communication networks for machine-to-machine and system-wide connectivity. AGV & AMR Implementation: Support deployment of AGV/AMR systems (VDA5050 preferred) for automated material transport and logistics within the facility. System Integration & Testing: Work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and production teams to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing lines, ensuring robust testing and validation. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement: Diagnose and resolve automation issues, implement continuous improvements, and support maintenance teams in ensuring high equipment uptime.You’ll win us over by,
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or controls engineering. Hands-on expertise in Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, S7 series). Experience with industrial robots (Staubli, Universal Robots, Fanuc, Kuka). Proficiency in industrial networking (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA). Proficiency SCADA and industrial edge computing for real-time data processing. Understanding of IoT protocols and architecture for smart factory applications. Experience deploying and maintaining AGVs or AMRs with VDA5050 standard is a plus. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in high-mix, low-volume discrete manufacturing environments Familiarity with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for quality control. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for industrial networks. Experience with cloud integration for IIoT applications. Experience managing automation projects.Create a better#TomorrowWithUs!
