As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, Banking & Wealth Management Team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience Writing automation test script for integration and end to end level for each module using, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Java, Cucumber Writing automation script, and reviewing them for Web-Services Testing ie SOAP and REST services using Rest assured and Java based framework Gathers, analyzes, prepare end to end testing requirements for the products involving multiple applications & systems. Prepare test plan and test strategies and setup tollgate to review and finalize the approach. Works closely with product team to prepare test data requirements, document and proactively work with different teams to setup the data. Executes end to end tests, reviews results and publish reports to stakeholders and product management. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in the automation pipeline that drives improvements for software deployment Gaining experience with Service virtualization, Data virtualization and  innovate solutions that enable the scrum teams across products to achieve end to end Testing  Highly experienced to coordinate and orchestrate end to end testing needs involving large numbers of teams across different Line of Business.

Familiar with tools such as PACT and Spring Cloud Contract for API testing Familiar with designing/building infrastructure/tools for managing/storing Test data
