The Hosting Services Automation Engineering Intern works closely with all teams in Hosting Services to develop their technical acumen and cultural aptitudes in the use of automation and AI.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Hosting Services Automation Engineering Intern is responsible for developing automation solutions, automation practices, analyzing new technologies for their potential in the field of automation, and for assisting other Hosting Services teams with improving their automation and development best practices to make use of automation technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Current undergraduate college student with expected graduation date no later than May 2027Experience with scripting languages such as Python (Preferred), BASH, Ruby, or PerlBasic understanding of configuration management with Ansible (Preferred), Chef, Puppet, or any other configuration management tool.Experience with AI/ML including, but not limited to, prompt engineering, data analysis, AI-enabled applications, AI focused development, or MLOpsExperience with version control using GitLab, or GitHub.Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to telecommute.U.S. CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:
