You Are:

UST is searching for an Automation Lead who will work ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage.

 

The opportunity:

·       Create Test Estimates and Schedules

·       Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

·       Ensure adherence of processes and standards

·       Produce test results, defect reports, test logs and reports for evidence of testing

·       Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

·       Report progress of testing

·       Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Maven: Experienced working with general properties within pom.xml config file

·       Experienced setting builds within maven’s pom.xml file and working around with the usage of different types of plugins at the same area

·       Experienced working with maven dependencies

·       TestNG: General knowledge of TestNG as a tool Experienced in setting, running and maintaining projects dictated by cucumber and handled by TestNG

·       Experienced in using JavaScript as a tool to work around issues presented at UI level.

·       Azure: Experienced in working with pipelines

·       Experienced in setting up pipelines

·       Experienced working with Azure Dashboards as well as setting them up Git: Experienced working with branching strategies at git

·       Must know how to fix issues provided by repositories (there are quite few to list them here)

·       Basic to intermediate git commands knowledge

·       8+ years of experience and Automation lead experience

·       Java 11 Cucumber maven Git Selenium Postman RestAssured MS SQL Axe Devtool SQL Data generator

·       Excellent communication and mentorship abilities

·       Strong in Java Core concepts

·       Able to rationalize and solve problems using java language

·       Markup languages

·       Must be strong in XML and JSON OOP concepts and patterns

·       Constructors knowledge

·       Be pretty familiar with collections

·       Maps are optional but lists and sets are a must

·       Must know how to work with exceptions, both checked and unchecked

·       Experienced in performing code reviews as well as aware of java best practices for both writing and reviewing code

·       Selenium: Experienced using all the different types of selenium locators since the project cant rely on just one or two from time to time

·       Experienced with using Page Object Model as a design pattern between both Java and Selenium-related classes

·       Must know how to work around Selenium limits by the usage of Java Cucumber: Experienced with step definition, page object modifiers and features Please note that as gherkin based, cucumber does work with several types of annotations and tags so this must be also considered as a must
