**Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics. You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. You will also be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. You will connect a laptop to machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues. The maintenance team uses an MMS system to generate work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer/tablet. It is a machine shop production environment with off-shift positions available. The second shift is from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, and the third shift is from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM. During the first 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect 40 hours a week on days for training before moving to their assigned shifts. Candidates must be open to both shifts as they will be assigned to their shift following the training period. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
