Prospect, IL. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will work with a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanics, Engineers, and other technical support personnel to maintain equipment in a large volume advanced technology pharmaceutical dispensing facility. This role will allow you to repair, maintain and improve equipment to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility. Your success will be determined by working in a team based environment, possessing good communication skills with the ability to work with different levels of employees with focus on customer service. Your experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems will also contribute to your success in this role. Candidates hired for the Automation Mechanic role are provided tools by CVS Health upon training. No requirement to provide your own. **Selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working 3rd shift hours of 10:00pm-6:30am Monday-Thursday, and 12:00am-8:30am on Saturday. **Primary Responsibilities** + Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility. + Troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and be responsible for supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems. + Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees. **Required Qualification** + Minimum 3 years prior experience of general maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. + Minimum 3 years prior experience of professional maintenance experience in an industrial environment. + Minimum 3 years prior experience of troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and PLC based control systems, knowledge of PLC’s, PLC troubleshooting. **Preferred Qualifications** + Mechatronics certification. + Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse, or healthcare environments. + Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, FDA, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device). + A craft certification or other related certification/training. **Education** Verifiable High School Diploma/GED **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $21.10 - $44.99 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
