This position exists to operate automated machinery for manufacturing.
Pay starts at $17.40 per hour depending upon experience, but candidates should expect to start at the begining of the pay range.

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesUses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machinesControls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashionWorks under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional areaPossesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the jobObserves while the machine is being repaired by a TechnicianObserves and follows all safety protocolsLearns the use of precision measuring toolsPerform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplacePerform other related duties as assigned QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED preferredExperience:
1 year of automation operation experience strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
