Join our dynamic manufacturing team at KARL STORZ U.S.in Charlton, MA as an Automation Process Operator - 2nd shift, where you'll oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced automated systems. You will play a critical role in transitioning manual processes to automation, ensuring smooth production flow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Hours:  3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday

 

What you'll be doing:

Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated machinery. Perform manual assembly of small parts as needed. Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and quality checks. Document standard work for serial production and assist in the automation transition. Train and support the manufacturing team.

 

What you need to be considered:

3+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries. Knowledge of automation systems (robotics, pick-and-place, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with robotic and PLC programming is a plus. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks.
