Job description :

We are looking for an Automation Programmer for a plant in Valleyfield.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support and improvement of programmable logic controllers.

Your tasks will include:

Programming PLCs and operating interfaces (Rockwell Allen-Bradley and Emerson Delta V) Participate in troubleshooting, testing and commissioning Participate in system alarm management Transfer information to operators and site staff Prepare technical documents (functional descriptions of sequences) Participate in the administration of process control networks Participate in the process of carrying out programming projects Technical support for production, quality and maintenance departments

Skills and qualifications :

DEC or Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, automation, computer science, software engineering or any relevant experience Three (3) years of relevant experience in the automation field Relevant experience in development and programming of automated control systems, including operator interface (Allen Bradley and Delta V an asset) Available for evening and weekend calls and occasional travel in the U.S. Experience in the chemical industry an asset Apply
