Our client, a leader in agricultural innovation, is seeking an Automation Sanitation Technican to join their team. As an Automation Sanitation Technican, you will be supporting the highly automated growth chambers for this research and development site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Automation Sanitation Technician **Location:** Johnston, IA **Pay Range:** $22 per hour **Hours:** 7:30AM - 4:00PM, M-F with rotational weekend work every 6th week **What's the Job?** + Work in a a large greenhouse research and development facility, loading and running automated washers, such as a pot & flat washer. + Run an industrial tipper/grinder and composting machine. + Use forklift and pallet jack to organize and stock supplies. + Assist with transplanting plants and performing basic plant care tasks, and plant sampling. + Troubleshoot and document issues within various automated systems. **What's Needed?** + Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles. + Good communication skills and a high degree of self-motivation. + Ability to work well independently and follow standard operating protocols. + Basic computer skills, including experience with MS Office programs. + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive work in a greenhouse environment. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to be part of a team that is solving global food challenges. + Hands-on experience in a dynamic research facility. + Bonus structure rewarding long-term commitment. + Work in a supportive and innovative environment. + Chance to learn and grow within the agricultural technology sector.
