We are seeking a highly operational candidate with hands-on experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining automated systems and lab instrumentation. The focus is on preparing and executing automated workflows within a wet-lab environment, requiring a strong background in lab automation techniques and equipment** **Qualifications:** + **Education** : + Associate’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences with 4+ years of experience in laboratory automation, OR + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences with 2+ years of experience in laboratory automation. + **Experience and Skills** : + Proficient in automated wet lab assays, assay validation, and optimization. + Competent in Microsoft Office, LabView, and introductory Python. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Hands-on experience with liquid handlers and robotic systems, including Biomek, Combi, BlueWasher, Cytomat, Precise, Staubli, WDII, Pherastar, Echo, and Hamilton instruments. **Responsibilities:** + Work with a collaborative team that leverages automation to drive novel medicine discovery. + Operate and maintain automated systems and instruments, supporting multiple projects simultaneously. + Design and interpret experiments, optimize automated workflows, and troubleshoot as needed. + Adhere to established protocols and validate new procedures with close attention to detail. + Prepare and monitor automated systems for workflow execution, handling error recovery at both system and instrument levels.
