The Digital and Developer Platform (DDP) team seeks a Senior QA Engineer passionate about scalable, secure, and reliable software in an agile environment. This role involves building a test framework for the developer platform and designing the next-gen Test framework for Visa APIs.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement high-quality test solutions using agile tools. Hands-on QA, white-box testing, and automation (No manual testing). Support CI processes and system deployments. Write test plans and test cases. Improve software development and troubleshoot defects. Understand the developer world, voice customer perspectives, and drive test automation. Expertise in test automation and framework implementation on web, mobile, or SOAs. Work closely with QE developers and product leads for unit test coverage. Provide guidance to QA groups on design artifacts and QA test plans. Superior communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with agile life cycle tools (Rally, JIRA). Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of work experience, or more than 2 years with an Advanced Degree. 5 years of software development and test experience. Automation scripting and white-box testing in Java, TestNG, jUnit. Experience with Selenium or similar testing frameworks. Experience in automated and performance tests for REST-based services. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Rally, JIRA, Confluence). Hands-on with databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB). API testing with SOA Suite, SOAP UI, PostMan, REST Client. Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins/Bamboo) and monitoring tools (Nagios). Code quality tools (Sonar, PMD, FindBugs, Checkstyle, Emma, Cobertura). Hands-on experience with Eclipse or other IDEs. Distributed source control systems (Git). Performance testing using JMeter.
